For the first time, practitioners can now deliver the efficacy of the Alexandrite laser on ALL skin types (1–6); not just the traditional 1-3. Using a specific “MOVEO” technology The Motus AX concentrated the energy of an Alexandrite laser, delivering it through a unique 20mm contact cooling sapphire tip with ultra – short pulse duration (2ms) ideal for treating more challenging fine and fair hair.
Like most other hair removal lasers, the Alexandrite 755nm laser is traditionally delivered in a shot “shot-by-shot” method. This universal method of laser delivery sees the Alexandrite lose a vast amount of energy during treatments, sometimes as high as 32%. This traditional procedure can also be a slow and sometimes, very uncomfortable treatment. Practitioners can now treat eery client, regardless of skin type, using a specialist Alexandrite 755nm ‘Moveo Pain-Free’ laser technology. This new and unique innovation works by delivering the Alexandrite laser at an ultra-high repetition rate, using a large 20ml contact-cooled sapphire tip which stays in continuous contact with the skin. This dramatically reduces the energy that is typically reflected by the skin when using a standard Alexandrite laser. This, therefore, allows lower fluences (energy) to achieve the target temperature required for clinically effective, long-term hair removal results. The large spot size capability means that some areas can be treated in under 10 minutes per session.

Laser Hair Removal treatments are no longer compared to “ flick or a rubber band”. Light is emitted and absorbed by melanin within the hair, which is then converted to heat energy damaging the hair follicle.
With standard laser hair removal treatments, you can feel what is described as a ‘hot flick’ of an elastic band during treatment. However, with the brand-new pain free Motus MOVEO treatment you will feel little to no sensation at all. The built-in chill tip allows even more comfort for clients especially when treating an area with lots of dense and dark hair.
The number of sessions required varies from client-to-client and is dependent on many factors. As a guideline, it is always recommended to complete 6-8 treatments, however, some individuals achieve results sooner, whilst others might need more. If you suffer from a hormonal imbalance you may require ongoing treatments though.
In general the waiting time in between laser treatments is 4-6 weeks for facial area and 6 – 8 weeks for areas below the neck.

Most people are suitable for treatment. We recommend a consultation with your clinician to ascertain if the treatment will be successful for you. Grey/white hair has no melanin so is not suitable for treatment.
On your first visit your laser therapist will go through detailed consultation to eliminate any contraindications, explain the process of the treatment, and discuss client’s realistic expectations regarding Laser Hair Removal outcome. You therapist will inform you how to prepare for the treatment, giving you an estimated length of the treatment, how to maintain the hair through the process and after care. Before proceeding you will be asked to sign a consent form and undergo a test patch.
MOTUS Deka Laser is equipped with revolutionary MOVEO handpiece (which has built in cooling system) allowing unwanted hair to be removed easier, faster safer, and more effective (painless treatments, also suitable for darker skin types). The sapphire tip is cooled to 15 degrees Celsius providing optimum comfort for the clients. As the therapist glides multiple times on a small area of the skin it causes gradual heating of the hair follicle, destroying its root.
