Moveo is a unique laser technology based on 4 fundamental concepts: effectiveness, speed, safety and simplicity.

Deka Again PRO laser is equipped with revolutionary MOVEO handpiece (which has built in cooling system) allowing unwanted hair to be removed easier, faster safer, and more effective (painless treatments, also suitable for darker skin types). The sapphire tip is cooled to 15 degrees Celsius providing optimum comfort for the clients. As the therapist glides multiple times on a small area of the skin it causes gradual heating of the hair follicle, destroying its root. Contact cooling dramatically reduces the energy that is usually reflected by the skin when using a standard Alexandrite laser.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Again PRO laser is one of the latest most advanced, safe, and effective technology advancements in laser field, allowing permanent hair reduction on almost all areas of the body. Again Deka Laser is the world’s first and only “Pain Free “laser hair removal platform that uses True Alexandrite laser, emitting 755nm wavelength that is known for best melanin absorption in the hair follicle as opposed to other lasers. Apart from being highly effective treating darker hair, Again is the only wavelength that successfully can treat fine and lighter hair containing less melanin. For the first time practitioners can now deliver efficiency of Alexandrite laser on ALL Skin Types, all year round.

Light is emitted and absorb by melanin within the hair, destroying the stem cells, nerve converting energy damaging the hair follicle.

With standard laser hair removal treatments, you can feel what is described as a ‘hot flick’ of an elastic band during treatment. However, with the latest technology advancement you will feel little to no sensation at all. The built-in chill tip allows even more comfort for clients especially when treating an area with lots of dense and dark hairs.

The number of sessions required varies from client-to-client and is dependent on many factors. As a guideline, it is always recommended to complete 6-8 treatments, however, some individuals achieve results sooner, whilst others might need more. If you suffer from a hormonal imbalance, you may require ongoing treatments though.

In general, the waiting time in between laser treatments is 4-6 weeks for facial area and 6 – 8 weeks for areas below the neck.

Most people are suitable for treatment. We recommend a consultation with your clinician to ascertain if the treatment will be successful for you. Grey, red, and white hair has no melanin so is not suitable for treatment.

On your first visit your laser therapist will go through detailed consultation to eliminate any contraindications, explain the process of the treatment, and discuss client’s realistic expectations regarding Laser Hair Removal outcome. You therapist will inform you how to prepare for the treatment, giving you an estimated length of the treatment, how to maintain the hair through the process and after care. Before proceeding you will be asked to sign a consent form and undergo a test patch.

  • The area to be treated should be free from make-up, perfume, deodorant and body or face creams. Be careful when using spray deodorant prior to treatment.
  • Avoid waxing, plucking, hair removal creams and bleaching for, one month prior to hair removal treatments. Hair should be shaved prior to treatment and be no longer than 1mm in length.
  • There should be no active fake or fake tan in the area to be treated. Use of sunbeds or prolonged exposure to sunlight is not allowed in the month prior to treatment and SPF 30 must be used on the area between treatments, Suntans must be left to fade completely before treatment can start. Fake tans must also be fully faded before treatment can commence.
  • A medical history is taken at consultation, but we rely on you to inform us of any changes to this. We need to know of any medication you are taking including those bought from a chemist or herbalist.
